Had to get up from work to investigate a clicking noise from the kitchen all of a sudden. Kept finding nothing. Then I find Shine, my cat, looking through a window into the breezeway.
He was turning the motion light on, running outside the room to watch it turn off, then going back in. He finally stopped when I figured out what he was doing.
The culprit, inspecting the vents like he does every day:
