I immediately had to think of one of my mountain trails in the beautiful Soca Valley around Bovec/Slovenia in South-Eastern Europe.
During my early morning ascent to the "Svinjak Celo", a wild goat simply took the upper half of my sesame bun during my breakfast break. afterwards she accompanied me to the summit, where I gave her a cupped hand of my summit beer.
Later she accompanied me again on my descent and even said goodbye politely. She had a special charisma, self-confident, serious, loyal and also a little caring.
I told two Chinese travelers about it in the evening over a bottle of wine together, whereupon they set off on the same way to the summit the next morning, they were also accompanied by the goat.
In the evening they told me again about it, whereupon we appointed the goat as "Mountain Guide Of Svinjak Celo".
