Charity keeps pets at home and out of the pound by helping cover care costs

A new charity is helping low socio-economic households keep their pets, by offering emergency boarding and funding for veterinary care.
I can't help but feel horrified by the headlines today. I can't offer any commentary that adds to the discourse that hasn't already been covered, so I will instead offer up a photo from Indy yesterday.
