Raven is mostly blind, but really smart. He's a homing pigeon, so it's really easy to get him to go to his cage at night.
What amazes me is if he needs more water, he waits patiently by where the water normally is for me to return with a refill. Then he acts all happy. He knows how to get his message across.

Already the last day of the year !
Nov 16 a Leaf bug () or Stink bug, was on the wall. The cats were not interested. I thought if I put it outside it would freeze. So, I put it in a house plant. Twice it has come out and said hello. And I put it back. This is Dec 27th, 6-7 weeks. How long do they live. I will be sad when it stops walking on the keyboard.

Another beach outing for Indy. With the New Year's holiday upon us, there are a lot of fireworks being lit off in our neighborhood. Luckily, Indy has lost most of his hearing now that he is almost 12, but he can still feel the big booms.
One of the ways we try to make it up to him is by taking him to the beach as much as we can during daylight hours. He is so much happier this way.
She said she was just going to the mailbox. She has been gone a long time (at least 30 seconds). We thought we'd better check. Happy everyone!
