A week or so into minding this guy, the hours have amped up and yesterday his rescuer says he may be a project she didn't think on enough in terms of commitment.
So I'm now debating if health, finance & otherwise, am I up for 5-10 years of commitment myself (still fairly fresh off 10+ years of two similar hound adoptions.
Love these guys, but need to be fair to myself and them as I age and winters in particular become a real effort.

Decided to take the boys for walks this morning because the weather is perfect, I had the time, and its Elwoods gotcha day so we had to celebrate with a walk. I always have to be strategic about the order I walk them in, tricking one to stay behind, and being ready with harnesses to minimize the barking insanity. Its a whole thing. I took them on nearly identical walks but their sniffing priorities are very different.
Jake (walk 1): 1.46 miles. 32 min mile pace. Total walk time: 46.54
Elwood (walk 2): 1.44 miles. 26 min mile pace. Total walk time: 37.41
