Actually...Ours gets depressed when she sees us opening presents & she didn't get one. She thinks we dont love her anymore.
So, we have a box in a drawer where we've put all her extra toys. Whenever a birthday or other gift-giving event comes up, we pull one or two small toys out, wrap them up & give them to her whenever it's time to open gifts.
