Two hospitals in , Ohio, were sent into after , police said on Saturday,
marking the fourth such case in as many days that appears linked to false claims circulating among the far right that Haitian there are domestic and wildlife.
Saturdays threats came even after the woman who started the rumors acknowledged to NBC News that they were and publicly apologized.
Health Springfield was one of the medical facilities targeted, with officials later saying they found nothing suspicious during a search. Another hospital, Healths Springfield regional medical center, received a similar threat.
A spokesperson with Mercy Health said the hospital had continued to operate and thanked Springfield police as well as hospital staff for their swift, efficient and caring response.

The vet said if my husband hadn't been so quick to react & treat her for fleas when he saw her scratching, the reaction could have gotten so bad that it could have killed her. We had to spend $50 at Petco before we could get to the vet for hydrocortisone cream & antibiotic gel spray, and another $75 at the vet for the office visit & a corticosteroid shot. So, PLEASE! Don't just assume it's "just an itch" or "just fleas." It can actually be VERY SERIOUS!!!
& owners - If you don't already, please, PLEASE regularly treat your for fleas & ticks! When you see your pet scratch, it may not simply be a random, "Oh, it's okay... They're just scratching." It may actually threaten their lives! We had to take our cat to the vet last week because she was coming up with a bloody rash and her fur was falling out in clumps. It turns out that the vet thinks she was bitten by ONE FLEA & reacted to it THAT BADLY.
