Now this is Rascal two hours after the appointment. I think the tablet has kicked in.
The vets gave us a new appointment for later in the day and a sedative in tablet form for Rascal to take 90 minutes before the next appointment.
The tablet hadnt taken effect by the time it got to the second appointment, and it was basically take two of the earlier appointment. So now he has another appointment for Friday to be fully sedated so theyre actually able to take the blood sample.
So my dog, Rascal, was booked in for his annual vaccinations and checkup today. They were concerned about the amount of weight he had lost so they tried to take a blood sample to check for any issues.
Well, Rascal wasnt having any of it. A normally non-violent dog had all his teeth on show to both the vets and even my wife who took him to the appointment. They muzzled him but they couldnt get him calm enough to take the sample.
